2026 Event Overview

The 2026 Asia Region Workshop for Art Educators is hosted by King's College International School. The Workshop engages visual arts educators in art-making techniques directly applicable to classroom practice.

The Workshop is built around three integral components:

• Practical Inquiry

  • Participants share resources, lessons, activities, and samples used in their teaching practice to be shared with other participants.

• Saturday and Sunday Studio Sessions

  • ​ ​Hands-on art-making workshops are led by peer art educators to apply directly to the classroom studio.

• Friday Exploration of Place

  • ​ Interaction with the host location allows participants to explore local arts destinations unique to the area.

The professional exchange results in enthusiasm and innovation for visual arts classrooms, invigorating teaching performance across the region.
